To Promote and encourage young children to learn our Mother Tongue Telugu, which plays a vital role in strengthening our cultural identity and heritage in the global world.
OUR OBJECTIVE
Teach children to learn, speak, read and write in the Telugu Language. Emphasis the Significance of Mother tongue & Appreciate our culture and heritage.
The establishment of Telugu Badi is to energize the Canberra Telugu Community Linguistically and Culturally by encouraging and supporting Learning and Teaching of Telugu Language and Culture.
CURRICULUM
TAC and Telugu Badi team had worked hard to get the most prestigious course available to the kids here in Canberra. We follow the “SiliconAndhra – ManaBadi” curriculum for our kids and the salient features of this program are to focus on all aspects of Telugu learning i.e., reading, writing and speaking. At present over 10500 students across 35 states in USA, 12 countries outside USA are learning Telugu with great interest. More than 45000 students have successfully learned our mother tongue Telugu at SiliconAndhra ManaBadi in the last 12 years. Definite Course Outline and Material for each level with formal tests to assess students’ performance.
All Books and Materials are prepared with support and guidance from highly reputed Telugu Linguists and Professors from Central Institute of Indian Languages (Mysore) and Sri Potti Sriramulu Telugu University (Hyderabad). Sri Potti Sriramulu Telugu University recognizes the ManaBadi program and awards certificates to students every year.
